ZITF FACTS

The Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) is the biggest trade and commercial exhibition in Zambia which hosts both local and foreign exhibitors from all sectors of the economy with a view of enhancing global trade.

In relation to the 2018 participation record, the Trade Fair attracted 581 local
exhibitors and 75 foreign companies bringing the total number to 656 participants. The consistent increase in the participation record each year is attributed to growth in the country’s economic trends of promoting trade and
investment within and beyond borders.

The 54th Trade Fair was officially opened by Botswana President His Excellency Mokgweetsi Masisi alongside his counterpart the ZITF patron His Excellency President of the Republic of Zambia, Edgar Chagwa Lungu.

Fourteen (14) Countries participated in the 2018 Trade Fair and are outlined as follows:
Congo DRC, Kenya, USA, Tanzania, China, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Malawi, South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt, India and Pakistan.

PATRONAGE
ZITF had an enhanced Patronage in 2018 compared to previous past years. The 2018 patronage stood at 123 012 over the 2017 Fair patronage of 93 434 representing a 24% increment. We are optimistic that patronage will continue
to increase especially with our focus on promoting growth across all sectors of the
economy.

BUSINESS SEMINARS
In 2018, ZITF hosted three Business Forums. The Business Forums which were the highlight of the Trade Fair were structured in an inclusive manner to provide a networking platform for Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs) and Corporate Organisations from various business sectors.

The amount for the full package in Zambian Kwacha for 9 square
metre exhibition booth is outlined as follows:
• International Hall – K18 000
• Kelvin M’lenga Hall – K16 000
• Rex Fertig-K 6200
• Traders Hall- K3500
The full package consists of the following:
• 9 Square metres floor area
• Modular stands using white panel of 2.5 high
• 1 Black company name in white vinyl
• Two(2) 15ow spotlights
• One (1) 15 Amps power socket

STAND –ALONE PAVILIONS

The participation rates for the stand-alone pavilions range from
K20 000 to K50 000 VAT Inclusive.

OPEN AREA

Basic open area rental is as follows:
• K300 per square metre VAT inclusive for Traders.
• K600 per square metre VAT inclusive for Corporate
Organisations.
