In relation to the 2018 participation record, the Trade Fair attracted 581 local
exhibitors and 75 foreign companies bringing the total number to 656 participants. The consistent increase in the participation record each year is attributed to growth in the country’s economic trends of promoting trade and
investment within and beyond borders.

The 54th Trade Fair was officially opened by Botswana President His Excellency Mokgweetsi Masisi alongside his counterpart the ZITF patron His Excellency President of the Republic of Zambia, Edgar Chagwa Lungu.

Fourteen (14) Countries participated in the 2018 Trade Fair and are outlined as follows:
Congo DRC, Kenya, USA, Tanzania, China, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Malawi, South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt, India and Pakistan.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInRight”]PATRONAGE
ZITF had an enhanced Patronage in 2018 compared to previous past years. The 2018 patronage stood at 123 012 over the 2017 Fair patronage of 93 434 representing a 24% increment. We are optimistic that patronage will continue
to increase especially with our focus on promoting growth across all sectors of the

In 2018, ZITF hosted three Business Forums.
